Diabetes – Cause of Diabetes, Symptoms and Diagnose

Insulin is responsible for transforming the Diabetes is the condition where your body stops producing enough insulin. It is considered as a metabolic disease. It can be because of body cells stop responding properly to insulin.

There are two kinds of diabetes

  • Type 1 diabetes.
  • Type 2 diabetes.

Type 1 diabetes occurs when the pancreas stops making insulin. Persons who suffer from type 1 diabetes need to take insulin injection.

Type 2 diabetes occurs when the body does not use insulin. Most of the persons have type 2 diabetes. It actually diagnosed in adults mostly. People can have this disease because of some family history. Apart from these people who have overweight are more likely to have diabetes.

Cause of Diabetes

Insulin is one of the hormones produced by the body and is responsible for changing the glucose to the blood cell so that it can be used as energy by our body. However, when the body does not have enough insulin-glucose cannot be transformed into energy which results in high blood glucose levels. You may be wondering some main risk factor of having diabetes so here are the main causes.

  • Being Overweight.
  • Less activity in daily routine.
  • Family history
  • Age factor
  • Having excess in sugar in the diet.

Symptoms:-

It is very important to know the symptoms of it so that you can diagnose it and go treatment well.

  • Suddenly start losing weight
  • Frequent feeling of peeing.
  • Feeling of thirst frequently.
  • Feeling of hunger every time.
  • Blurred vision in eyes.
  • Lower limbs got feeling of pins
  • Dryness in the mouth.
  • Headache
  • Being unconscious.
  • Feeling of tiredness

Diagnose: –

Diagnose is very important. An early diagnose would be helpful to go for treatment.  Diagnose of diabetes is done by having a blood test.

  • Fasting blood glucose test: – In this test blood sample is taken in empty stomach. Another blood sample is taken after having something eatable. Both the blood test confirms diabetes. Fasting glucose level should be 7 mmol/L.
  • Random Blood test: – In this blood test blood sample is taken at a random time. Random glucose level should be 11.1 mmol/L.
  • Haemoglobin Test: – This test is a measurement of how much average blood is there in a human body. If reports show that it is higher than 5% diabetes is confirmed.

Treatment:-

By doing some efforts and with the support of some medication you can easily overcome this disease. Besides having medication here are the things you should follow.

  • Diet: – include low-fat eatables in your diet. Avoid having sugar in daily routine. Fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains are highly recommended for the person who is suffering from it. Alcohol is strictly prohibited as it contains a lot of sugar.
  • Burn fat and calories: – You need to stay physically active. A regular speedy walk is very beneficial.

Besides these points, you should take advice from the doctor. It is something that should not be ignored. Sometimes it can have some long-term side effect. You should consult with your doctor before starting proper medication for diabetes.
